Kayadhu Gram Vikas Pratishthan, Nanded3 January Savitribai Fhule Jayanti
Kayadhu or Development Foundation Umra Taluka Kalmanuri District Hingoli he birth anniversary of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule is celebrated on January 3rd every year to honor her extraordinary contributions to education, social reform, and women empowerment in India. Savitribai Phule was the first female teacher in India and a prominent social reformer, who played a vital role in uplifting the marginalized sections of society, especially women and oppressed castes. The secretary of the organization for this program is Shekurao Ganpatrao Lekule. Jatalwadi All the women and sisters of the village were present. After the program, food was enjoyed.
Ambedkar Jayanti
On April 14th, we commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social equality. Kayadhu Gram Vikas Pratishthan conducts events to honour his legacy, including seminars and discussions about his vision for an inclusive and just society. Tributes are paid with garlands on his photograph, and we inspire participants to uphold his ideals of equality, education, and empowerment for all.
Maharashtra Day
We celebrate Maharashtra Day annually on May 1st, marking the formation of the state of Maharashtra in 1960. On this occasion, we organise flag hoisting ceremony, and cultural programs that showcase the rich heritage, traditions, and achievements of Maharashtra. Our members come together to honor the state’s progressive journey, discussing contributions to education, industry, and social reform, while fostering pride in Maharashtra’s vibrant culture.
Independence Day
Independence Day is celebrated every year on August 15th to honor India’s freedom from British rule in 1947. Our organization marks this day with flag hoisting, cultural programs, and sweet distribution. It reminds us of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and instills a sense of patriotism, unity, and pride among all members and attendees.
Republic Day
On January 26th, we celebrate Republic Day to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950. Our program includes flag hoisting, speeches, and cultural performances by local children. Sweets are distributed to spread joy and togetherness. This day reflects India’s commitment to democracy, justice, and equality for all citizens.
Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti
We celebrate Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on February 19th to honor the birth anniversary of the great Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Our program highlights his bravery, leadership, and contributions to nation-building. Through speeches and cultural performances, we inspire young minds to follow his ideals of courage, justice, and dedication to society.
Marathwada Mukti Sangram Day
Observed on September 17th, Marathwada Mukti Sangram Day commemorates the liberation of the Marathwada region from the Nizam’s rule in 1948. On this day, we hold awareness programs to honour the bravery and sacrifices of the freedom fighters. We educate the younger generation about the historical significance of this struggle for freedom and inspire them to value their independence.
Gandhi Jayanti
On October 2nd, Gandhi Jayanti honours Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, on his birth anniversary. We conduct programs to spread awareness about his principles of non-violence, truth, and self- reliance. Activities include speeches, cleanliness drives, and interactive discussions about his contributions to India’s independence. Participants reflect on his teachings, reaffirming their commitment to creating a harmonious and peaceful society.
